In the words of Robert Frost – “Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words”. Tides of Life contains many of the author’s emotions converted to thoughts. These words represent the usual life experiences through her lenses. The lenses include her tryst with some of the experiences, her view on what is happening around us and what she has observed as a woman, parent, teacher, friend and above all a layman. The author really thinks that most of the poems would strike a chord with you under the different roles that you play as they are the reality expressed in simple words
